HOPPING ON THE YAKIMA CRAFT BEER CRAZE TRAIN:
In Yakima around 2014, the small but quality microwbrew scene heavily influenced those of us who would eventually start Valley Brewing. In fact, our post-collegiate taste buds adapted to the fantastic local beers nicely. We were continually venturing out to more breweries, and festivals, which led us to homebrewing. Our passion turned full on commercial and we are now are a part of an amazing local craft beer scene here in the world’s hop capital.
SHOWCASING YAKIMA’S HOPS:
Yakima Valley’s Agriculture helps drive the craft beer scene around the world like no other region. Now it helps drive our local microbreweries. When you visit Yakima, you are experiencing the shortest farm to glass supply chain out there.

WHEN WE AREN’T MAKING CRAFT BEER:
You can find us at Yakima beer festivals or cheering on the Mariners and Seahawks
APPLES, CHERRIES, PEARS, HOPS, GRAPES, APRICOTS, CORN, WHEAT
(AND THAT’S JUST SCRATCHING THE SURFACE):
We aren’t farmers, but in the Yakima Valley it’s not hard to stay connected to our most important resources. Fresh hop season really helps bridge the brewer-farmer relationship.
LOCALLY GROWN IN YAKIMA:
I am from Yakima, born and raised in West Valley. I love the outdoors, and enjoy nothing more than taking in a sunset, good music, and a craft beer… preferably at the Gorge Amphitheater. When I’m not brewing beer or enjoying a cold one, you can more than likely find me in the kitchen cooking, eating, or both. My background includes construction, sales, business administration, and fruit packaging. There’s three of us makers here at Valley so don’t hesitate to reach out and ask us a question!
